Seth's first day of driving

Here's some pics of Seth's first day on the track. This was the first time he's gotten to drive under full power. The cars do around 30-35mph in the class he's going to be racing in. We still have a LOT more practice do to before he's able to race with other kids. There's what they call "Novice Training" that he needs to be a part of. They'll teach him what all the flags mean and what he has to do when he sees certain flags. He's got to be able to drive the track very slowly when they're under caution. He's got to learn how to line up, qualify, pull in to the pits slowly and safely, etc. He hasn't been on the track yet with other cars and that's something else he'll be practicing. We're hoping my mid-summer some time they'll give Seth the thumbs up to go racing. Even though he's only 5 he already understands he's got to keep practicing before he can race. He wanted to go to the track on Monday so we took him again to practice and work on understanding the flags. He's picking this up so quick. I think because he's been around racing his whole life. He's so excited you guys about racing Quarter Midgets. It's awesome. We couldn't be more proud of him. Me especially. I've attached a couple of pics of our first day.
